Who we are
This website is operated by Sriratnagiri Traders LLP, a Limited Liability Partnership registered in Andhra Pradesh under GSTIN 37AFCFS3035E1Z8, with its principal place of business at 48-16-11/6A, Mahanadu Road, Revenue Ward 2A, Vijayawada, NTR District, Andhra Pradesh 520007, India. In this policy "we", "us" and "our" mean Sriratnagiri Traders LLP and the sister firms trading under the Sri Ratnagiri Traders group. This policy explains what personal information we collect, why, and what you can ask us to do about it.
What we collect
From this website, only what you type into the rate-request form: your name, organisation, phone number, email address, unloading location, and the requirement you describe. If you go on to buy from us, we additionally hold the commercial records a supplier must keep — your orders, delivery addresses, vehicle details, invoices, payments and outstanding balance, along with GST registration details where you are a registered business. We do not collect sensitive personal data through this site, and we do not run advertising or profiling trackers on it.
How we use it
To prepare and send you a quotation; to book, dispatch, deliver and invoice your order; to maintain your account and ledger in our order management system; to send you order, dispatch, delivery and payment updates; and to meet our obligations under Indian tax and company law. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for anyone else’s advertising.
WhatsApp and Meta platforms
We use the WhatsApp Business Platform, provided by Meta, to send transactional business messages — order confirmations, dispatch and delivery updates, payment reminders and balance confirmations — to the mobile number you give us. To do this, that number and the content of those messages are processed by Meta as our messaging provider, under Meta’s own terms and privacy policy. If you message us on WhatsApp, or tap a WhatsApp link on this site, Meta processes that conversation in the same way. We use WhatsApp only for messages related to your enquiry or your account; we do not use it for marketing broadcasts unless you have separately asked to receive them.
Consent and opting out
Submitting the rate-request form, or messaging us on WhatsApp, is your consent for us to reply on the number and email you provided. You can withdraw that consent at any time — reply STOP to any WhatsApp message from us, or write to us at the email address on our contact page, and we will stop sending you non-essential messages. We may still need to send you messages that are necessary to complete an order you have already placed, or that we are required by law to send, such as an invoice.
Who we share it with
With the transporters, manufacturer plants and depots that have to know your delivery details in order to fulfil your order; with whichever firm in our group is billing that supply; with the service providers that run our systems on our behalf — our hosting provider, our email provider, and Meta for WhatsApp messaging — each of which may process your data only on our instructions; and with courts, tax authorities and other authorities where the law requires it.
Where it is stored, and for how long
Your data is stored on managed cloud infrastructure with access restricted to our authorised staff. Enquiries that do not become orders are kept only as long as we may reasonably still respond to them. Order, invoice and payment records are retained for the period required under the applicable Indian tax, GST and company law, after which they are archived or deleted.
Cookies and analytics
This website sets no advertising or third-party tracking cookies. It loads web fonts from Google Fonts, which means your browser makes a request to Google’s servers to fetch them. Any purely functional storage the site uses stays in your own browser and is never sent to us.
Your rights
You may ask us for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct anything inaccurate, ask us to erase information we are no longer required to keep, or withdraw your consent to being contacted. Write to us using the details on our contact page and we will respond within a reasonable period.
Grievances
If you are not satisfied with how we have handled your personal information, you may raise a grievance with us at the email address on our contact page, addressed to the Grievance Officer, Sriratnagiri Traders LLP, 48-16-11/6A, Mahanadu Road, Revenue Ward 2A, Vijayawada, NTR District, Andhra Pradesh 520007. We will acknowledge and address it as required under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as our services or our legal obligations change. The version published on this page is the one in effect, and material changes will be reflected here.
